Cool Camp is located in the west of Mali and is an initiative to supply travellers with a nice and quite place to camp.
Specially for those travelling between Senegal and Mali or Mauretania and Mali, Cool Camp is ideally situated. Located on the Baffing river, just one kilometer behind the big Dam of Manantali, Cool Camp is a nice quite place where you can relax, do some hiking, swim in the clear and cool water, visit a local African village or just relax under one of the big Mango trees.
We have an ablution block with shower and toilet. Also there are some tradtitional African huts with bed for rent, inluding shower and toilets.
We hope to have a restaurant in the future , but currently no food facilities are available and COVID has not made it much easier. There are however plenty of food options in the nearby village.
